CALLING ALL WHO HAVE EARS TO HEAR!
Jesus Christ is calling us to stand as a witness against
sin in the Church. Our duty is to defend the gospel of Jesus Christ and not
participate in the deeds of the evil one, even if it is considered spiritual. We
all have that choice. Are we going to risk loosing all of our friends for the sake
of the truth? Some have lost far more playing these religious games.
A faithful Christian recently wrote the following words, I consider this
the call of the Holy Spirit:
"To all the members, x-members, seekers etc., correct me if I am wrong, but I believe
that we should never cease loving others including Mike or anyone. It should not
be our intention to hurt them personally out of revenge or anger. But I do believe
that when it comes to sin and evil we should be wise and even ruthless. If there
is indeed much evil going on --as I believe that there is-- through the manipulative
control of this charismatic leader, then that evil is the enemy. I think that it
is our duty as people who love the captives in
Indian to stand up against "extra-Biblical" teachings that are ruining lives and hindering
people's walk with God.
Ignoring these things if you have something to add or can do something is wrong.
If you are a father in Indiana and you know the truth, then you know it is your duty to get your family out of
there and to tell your story to help the others. If you are an x-member, then it
is your duty to stand up in Christ's name for the God of truth and reveal the abuses
of Mike Peters. If you are a woman of God in this group, then God has blessed you
with the power and wisdom to put a stop to what you know is wrong.
Whoever you may be, your silence or "sitting on the fence" is not helping. I must
be frank; it shows fear, cowardice and a lack of faith in Jehovah God, your provider.
When I started writing tonight, I had no idea that I would be writing this “call”
so to speak, but I do feel inspired, and I must call you.
Maybe you have only had brief experiences with Mike Peters. Maybe you have read
the books. Maybe you have friends who are in the group. Now is the time to act.
It is like people go into the dungeon of
Indiana and they never come out again—whole families.
If you can do something and you are not doing it, now is—sad to say—perhaps the
time to feel guilty. If you want to help but don’t know how, start by telling your
story. There is nothing to fear when the The God of Truth is with you. "
Respectfully,
